I really try and avoid it as I always think people might realise (not that their going to be bothered and not that they do even realise !) I also always think about the dreaded photos after a night out.. I don't want to be wearing the same sort of outfit in all of my photos.

I find that even if you wear the same skirt but put it with a belt, different shoes
and different accessories, you will automatically feel like you have a new outfit :)

When I wasn't a student and had money I liked to buy a new outfit anytime there was a big night out ahead. Although now I just buy a few cheap accessories and the outfit looks and feels new.
